Everything that happens to you starts with you!

You are the only and ultimate source of your own success or your own failure.

Reinvent yourself

What you think and say about yourself invariably and unforgivingly becomes your daily reality. Nobody else other than yourself is responsible for who you are.

You are the only and ultimate source of your own success or your own failure. Change the way you think and talk about yourself and you will change the world around you and it is never too late to recreate, to reinvent yourself.

How do you do this?

First, paint a picture of what you want to be, what you want to look like, of how you want to live your life and what you want your life to be.

Actively write it down. What do you want to obtain, to attract, to attain? What are your goals, what lifestyle do you want to have? Who do you want to share your life with?

Take a sheet of paper and write it down. This is a simple life hack that truly works.

Life follows what we focus on

Write down your goals in crystal clear details. What do you want to be successful in? How would you like to earn tremendous amounts of money? What do you like doing?

Life follows our thoughts and if you really know what you want, by simply focussing on it, you can have it.

By simply turning your attention and focussing on who you want to be, what you want to achieve, what you want to have and how you want your life to be, you are propelling yourself into that new reality that you are creating for yourself.

Believe me: life is too short to live a boring and miserable life.

Change Your Narrative!

Are you in a perpetual cycle of disappointments, a perpetual cycle of failures and humiliations? It is now time to change your narrative. Start telling a new story right now.

Changing your narrative

Are you in a perpetual cycle of disappointments, a perpetual cycle of failures and humiliations?

It is now time to change your narrative.

When you are constantly talking about how bad things are now, you have no choice but to recycle that same negative energy. Consequently, you relentlessly and constantly renew and relive the same negative experiences over and over again.

Start telling a new story right now

Change your narrative now. Start talking about how you want to live your life, how you want life to be. Start talking as if you were already there.

Change your dialog from what is wrong in the world and around you to what is going right in your life. People and the universe do not like whiners! People like winners.

Start talking about how good you are at certain subjects and how magnificent you are. Change your vocabulary. Change your dialog. If you change your inner dialog, if you change your vocabulary, if you change the way you talk about yourself, if you talk about yourself in a positive way, you change the outside world.

If you change the way you talk about yourself, if you talk about yourself in a positive way, you change the outside world. You change the perception of everyone surrounding you and good things starts to happen.

Believe me: “It is never too late to turn your life around.”

Things to focus on instead of social media: “Rare” and “Valuable”

Social media may be entertaining, but it distracts you from achieving greater, personal success. To get value, you have to create value.

Achievers use a success list, not a to do list: they have a strong sense of priority

If you want extraordinary results, narrow your focus. Do your most important work when your willpower is strongest. For many people, that’s early in the day. Ask yourself: “What is this one thing I can do that will make everything else easier? In every aspect of your life, prioritize this one thing that is most important.

For most of us, social media is probably not what is most important

Everywhere you look these days, you find online aspiring writers and artists, as well as aspiring entrepreneurs and businesses leveraging social media to promote themselves. For many of them, not to say most of them, whatever they are publishing is not unique or valuable. It does not stand out from all the other noise. As a result, many aspiring writers, artists and entrepreneurs have their hearts broken.

They spend a lot of money on fancy websites, logos, photos and newsletter services. They launch their websites, post like crazy all over social media, and wonder why there is no response.

Social media success is a side effect of quality, not the cause

You can pretty your Instagram account all you want, and upload all kinds of lovely pictures on your Facebook page. None of that stuff, by itself, will make your art or business take off. If you want to be successful with your art or business, stop spinning your wheels on social media.

Focus on these two things: “Rare” and “Valuable”

Produce things that are rare and valuable. Instead of wasting all day grooming superficial stuff on social media, spend most of your time and pour your energy into mastering a difficult skill. If it is not difficult, it will not be rare. You will not stand out, and success will elude you. Rare and valuable skills are what set you apart from everyone else.

“To get value, you have to create value”

If you are doing remarkable work and build a social ratchet that works, only then will you have a significant social media presence. On the other hand, if you spend all your time beginning at the end, grooming your social network, nothing much is going to happen.

Rome was not built in a day

There are no shortcuts to any place worth going.

Rather than trying to endlessly spruce up your website and social media posts, put in the hard work. Get up early, or stay up late honing your rare and valuable skills.

Seek the best instruction you can afford. Relentlessly practice. Constantly compare your work to the best creators or entrepreneurs. Focus on the ONE THING that you need to do to move forward.

Keep focused on your ONE THING. Get the best instruction you can. Work hard. In time, you will start producing rare and valuable work. People will start to notice. And then, maybe your stuff will be the talk of social media.

Is a 6 figures income and beyond a realistic goal for a startup?

It is not only realistic, it shall be your only goal and motivation

One thing that many new entrepreneurs seem to have in common is that they tend to get caught up in all of the little daily details and lose track of the big picture.

The most important thing that you have to concentrate on when starting a new business is to get a customer.

Without a customer, you don’t need a business card, you don’t need an office space, you don’t need a LLC and so on. You don’t need anything especially spending the money that you don’t have.

Before anything else, get a customer

What is the market that you are targeting? Do people need the product or service that you are offering? How is your product or service better than the competition? Why shall people deal with you? How do you differentiate yourself from anybody else?

When starting a business, this is what you have to concentrate on, the big picture: Is this going to make any money?

It’s easy to get wrapped up in the details

You want to survive? You want your business to be successful? Here is what you have to do:

  1. Define and refine your business, your product or service;

  2. Make sure to be “The Best in The World at What You Do”;

  3. Make sure to “Stand Out from The Crowd”;

  4. Define and refine your business model;

  5. Start hustling and grinding and,

  6. Delegate whatever task is not essential to your Customer Acquisition Process to anyone is better than you at it, even to a Virtual Corporate Services Firm.

You don’t know exactly what you want to or have to do! Let me help you.

A few years ago, I decided I wanted to teach people what I know about entrepreneurship, startups, communications, branding and marketing. I decided to create some sort of bunkumless program about how to start a successful business.

So, I just threw together a name and structure and decided to go online. While I didn’t really know what the answer would be or what to expect, to my surprise, people started to follow me and emailing me asking for advice on how to start their business.

Suddenly, just a few weeks after publishing my website landing page, I realized that most of their concerns were about daily and routine details, ignoring the big picture: “Growing and Scaling” their Business Idea or Project to a six figures income and beyond.

This is when I decided to relaunch, to offer one of a kind service: An Online Consulting an Assistance Business Service to help young entrepreneurs, small and medium size businesses to scale and grow their business and most importantly, their income.

To my surprise 24 hours after the relaunch, I was in business. I had landed my first customer and was making just shy of $3,000 a month.

The Secret?

There is no secret; the only thing I had to do was:

  1. To pay attention and listen to my newly acquired customer and let him tell me exactly what were his concerns, issues and problems were;

  2. To pay attention and listen to what he was really looking for and expecting from me;

  3. After carefully listening and paying attention, to offer all possible solutions and that he would agree upon;

  4. After an “Understanding an Agreement” has been reached, to exactly and timely deliver as per budget.

  5. Finally, as an added bonus, added value, to provide him with all the tools that he needed to grow and scale his business.

The situation being resolved my customer was happy to promptly pay my bill and immediately retain my services on a monthly basis.

Let it be a lesson

Your first accountability and priority as an entrepreneur is to find a way to make your customers happy, to provide them with exactly what they need. with a bunkumless solution to solve any issue or problem that they may be facing or will be facing.

This is how you make money; this is where the money is.

If you have a product or offer a service that is making money for your customer, you can charge for it

The more money your customer makes using your product or service, the more you can charge for it.

Stop struggling with the daily administrative details of running a business. This is not helping any of your customers and they don’t give a shit about the color of your carpets.

What your customers care about is: “Making Money”.

Spend your time looking at ways to help your customers making money and making even more money.

Spend your time telling and showing your customers how your product or service answers their needs and wants and how it can always help them making more money.

Scaling up your business

Your business is doing well but not good enough! Your business is losing traction! Your business is not picking up! You don’t know what to do anymore!

NOW is the time to do something about it and I can help you.

Book an online 30 minutes FREE Consultation with me and let’s discuss your situation and expectations. But this is not the point.

The point is: How do you do it?

  1. Who is your targeted audience?

  2. What is your targeted audience looking for?

  3. How can you help?

  4. Is your product or service the best possible answer?

  5. If yes: Do you charge enough?

Charging and pricing, this is where a lot of entrepreneurs get scared.

Many, especially new entrepreneurs, think that there’s no way people will pay them more money to the money that they may be asking for. Let me tell you:

“You don’t charge enough, you look like a loser.”

I am not telling you to overcharge!

What I am telling you is that when you charge more money, you get better clients. They know they get more value, and you also get more value while getting more money and giving more in return.

When people pay more, they pay more attention. When people pay big, they really pay attention to what you have to say, your product or services. If you want to really scale your business, even a new business, don’t get caught in the process of not charging enough. On the long run, this would prove to be suicidal.

Do things as you go

Do things as you go. Listen to your customers, adapt to the situations and make changes when needed.

Don’t set yourself up for failure.

Don’t be afraid to charge for what you’re worth.

  1. See what people need and want;

  2. Offer it;

  3. Sell it,

  4. Tweak it,

  5. And, above everything else: Stop doubting yourself!

  6. Scale it; don’t be afraid to charge more.

You have the best possible product on the market, you are The Best in The World at What You Do! It is your duty to “Stand Out from The Crowd” and serve the people that need your help.

It’s also your duty, your most important duty to respect yourself and to charge what you’re worth.

Professional Problem Solver

Is your life off-course? Here is how to fix it!

Small things, if not corrected, always become big things. For better or worse, even seemingly inconsequential aspects of our lives can create ripples and waves of consequence.

Is your life off-course?

What feedback are you receiving to correct your course?

How often do you check your guidance system?

Do you even have a guidance system?

Where is your destination?

When are you going to get there?

Are you currently off-course?

If your answer to the last question is “YES”, here is what you have to do to get back on-course, to minimize the actual turbulences and other conditions distracting you from your intended path and final destination

  1. Organize Your Life

Life is busy. It is difficult to keep everything organized and tidy. And maybe you do not want to have an organized life. But moving forward, like it or not, requires a minimum of discipline and organization. Everything in life is energy and moving forward requires far less energy if you remove all unnecessary aggravation and tension from your life.

In life, there are some important, and urgent things and most people will spend their entire life prioritizing insubstantial activities such as answering emails, putting out proverbial fires, and just day-to-day stuff. Very few people organize their lives prioritizing almost exclusively truly important urgent activities and issues relevant to their health [either mental or physical], and personal lifetime rewarding achievement.

No one should care about your success more than yourself. If you are not a meticulous enough or do not care about proper planning of the important details of your life, then you are not responsible enough to get or to become what you say you want to get or become.

You want to reach your final destination? You want to be a winner instead of a loser? You have to manage your time and organize your life!

Manage your environment

Does your environment facilitate the emotions you consistently want to experience? Does your environment drain or improve your energy? If so, clean up your cluttered and messy living space.

Manage your finances

Do you have unnecessary debt? Do you know how much money you spend each month? Do you know how much money you make each month? Are you making as much money as you would like to make? Are you creating more value in other people’s lives? What is holding you back?

Most people do not track their expenses. But if they did, they would be shocked how much money they waste on stuff like eating out. Most people procrastinate and avoid as much as possible all administrative and logistical details about their life and, this lackluster behavior is holding them back from the very goals they are trying to accomplish.

You want to achieve your goals, whatever they may be, you have to hone in your finances; regardless of your actual income, you have to organize your life in such a way to maintain and develop and maintain a healthier financial living situation. Until you take complete responsibility of your finances, you will always be a slave to money.

Manage your relationships

Do you maintain toxic relationships that no longer serve you? Do you spend enough time nurturing the relationships that really matter? Like money, most people’s relationships are not organized in a conscious and conscientious manner. Today, with something so critical, all of us, including you, should take better stock of our relationships.

Manage your health

Does your body reflect your highest ideals? Is your body as strong and fit as you want it to be? Are you conscious of and in control of the foods you put in your body? Do you eat with the end in mind? Are you healthier now than you were three months ago?

Health is wealth. If you are sick, bed ridden or dying, who cares about how organized are the other areas of your life? Have a healthy lifestyle. Exercise, avoid foregoing sleep, over consuming stimulants and maintaining or developing poor eating habits.

Little things become big things. And eventually everything catches up.

Manage your “Inner Energy”

Do you have a sense of purpose in life? Have you come to terms with life and death in a way you resonate with? Have you truly living or simply existing? How much power do you have in designing your future?

When you organize your “Inner Energy”, you become clear on what your life is about. You become clear on what you stand for, and how you want to spend each day. You develop conviction for what really matters in live and what really matters to you: There is no more room for any kind of “distraction.”

No matter how well defined, everyone has a moral system governing their behavior. Most people believe in being honest and good people. But until you organize your life and live as your “Inner Energy “dictates you to conduct and live your life, you will always, inevitably and constantly experience internal conflicts.

Manage your time

Are the activities you spend your time doing moving you toward your ideal and preferred future? How much of your time do you feel in complete control of? Are you spending most of your time furthering someone else’s agenda? How much time do you waste each day?

Until you organize your time, it will disappear and move quickly. Before you know it, you will wonder where all the time went. Once you organize your time, it will slow down. You will be able to live more presently. You will be able to experience time as you want to. You will control you are time rather than the other way around.

Stop What You are Doing and Get Organized

If what you are doing is not working, stop doing it and, once and for all, get organized. The fastest way to move forward in life is not doing more or what you do; it starts with stopping the behaviors holding you back.

Getting organized and conscious of your present circumstances puts you in a position to finally build toward the preferred future you want. Stop your negative behaviors now and start implementing good ones. Constantly repeating what is not working for you will only always and invariably result in taking one step forward and one step backward.

If you want to get in shape or better health, the first thing to do before you start exercising, before doing anything else, is to purge the junk food from your diet.

Before focusing on making more money, reduce your spending. Detach yourself from needing more and become content with what you have. Until you do this, it does not matter how much money you make. You will always spend more than what you have.

Everything is a simple matter of stewardship

Rather than wanting more, it is key to take proper care of what you currently have. Organize yourself. Dial it in. Your life is like a garden. What good is planting if you do not have a fertile soil, if you do not prepare the soil and remove the weeds?

Why do most people stay stuck? Why do most people never achieve their goals? Why do most people never achieve success? They never organize. They simply try doing more of what they are doing and is not working.

My best possible advice: Before you “hustle,” get organized.

  1. Plan and Invest in “Your” Future

Even though the moment you decide you are worthy of it, you have complete power over the details of your life, very few people take the necessary time to consciously plan and design their life.

Are you worthy of that power or not?

You have to ask yourself this question and answer it right now, right this minute.

If your answer is “No”, do not bother to read this article any further; just stop complaining and enjoy your miserable life.

If your answer is “Yes”, I have to tell you that you are in for some real hard times. Your decision to plan and invest in “Your” future will result in tangible behaviors and difficult choices to make, decisions like fixing or eliminating troubled relationships from your life and saying “No” to some of your preferred activities that are nothing more than a waste of your time and immediate momentary gratification.

When you choose to forego momentary, you are investing in your future and most people fail to do this successfully. Most people do not purposefully invest in their finances, relationships, health, and time. But when you invest in yourself rather than immediate gratifications, your present moments will continue to get richer and more enjoyable, tremendously enhancing your chances to a guaranteed better future.

Thus, your life will continue getting better and more in line with your ideal vision every day.

  1. Tracking Important Metrics

Getting organized and investing in your future are futile if you are not tracking your progress. To be and to keep being the best in the world at what you do, you need to be on top of What is going on in your life. when behavior is tracked, and evaluated, your performance and productivity improve drastically. One impediment though, tracking is challenging. Tracking and monitoring your performance and progress requires discipline and most people quit doing it within a few days. The good part is that once you start monitoring and tracking, desired change happens quickly.

Track the things that are closely related to your core priorities and just remember this fundamental rule: If you have more than three priorities you have none. Keep your priorities to a minimum and start building your life around them, tracking and monitoring all your progress and actions toward your ultimate goal, your preferred future.

You can track whatever priorities you may have, either your key relationships, your business and finances, your health or how you use your time and once you do, your conscious awareness of these things will increase. Your ability to control these things will enhance. Your confidence will wax strong. And your life will become a lot more easier and simpler. You will be living a simple, yet organized and refined life.

Start monitoring and tracking your priorities now!

  1. Listening to your “Inner Voice” to Reduce Noise

There’s a lot of emphasis on hustle these days. But all the hustle in the wrong direction isn’t going to help you.

People may spend their whole lives climbing the ladder of success only to find, once they reach the top, that the ladder is leaning against the wrong wall. This happens way too often; far too late do we realize that in our mad rush, we were pursuing someone else’s goals instead of our own.

Spending time listening to your “Inner Voice” for advice and clarification does more than provide clarity to what you are doing. This opens your mind up to possibilities you cannot see, perceive or get while keeping busy hustling.

Spending time looking for and listening to your “Inner Voice” brings you insights and enlightenment to guide you in whatever may be your endeavor. It will bring you clarity, ideas and concepts that may prove to be absolute gold and new insights regarding your actual personal or business relationships.

But there is more

Your ‘Inner Thoughts”, your “Inner Voice” is a source of incredible power. This is the “power Within”, the “Power Within You”. That “Power” actually governs not only your actions but the interactions that you have with people around you and their actions and reactions toward you. The way you interact with people around you impact their lives either in a positive or negative way.

If you think positively about the people you interact with, this actually makes a difference. In both, your life and their life. Your thoughts create endless waves and ripples of consequence all around you. If you maintain a positive attitude, interesting things will begin happening.

Your life will improve and everything that you will touch will turn to gold. If you are uncomfortable with the idea of miracles, you can think of it as “Bona Fortuna” or even luck. Whatever you want call it, when you spend large portions of time every day in deep reflection mode, good things start happening. Things happen for your benefit that are completely outside of your conscious mind or conscious control.

Tap into your “Inner Power” and you will unlock limitless possibilities. The only thing holding you back from those things is your mind.

  1. Moving Toward Your Goals Every Single Day

How many days go by where you did nothing to move toward your big goals?

If you do not purposefully carve time out every day to progress and improve, then without question, your time will get lost in the vacuum of our increasingly crowded lives. Before you know it, you will be wondering where all that time went.

Now that you got yourself organized, finalize your initial planning, that you are tracking your progress and listening to your Inner Voice, taking action and hustling shall have become instinctive and automatic. Focusing on the right thing and in the right frame of mind to actually execute them every single day shall be your daily modus operandi.

Keep doing it every day, first thing at the beginning of your day. This is the only way to get and to keep things done. If you do not, nothing will get done even though that by the end of your day, you will feel exhausted and fried. There will be a million reasons to just start over tomorrow and tomorrow will be the same: by the end of the day, nothing will get done.

Starting today your mantra shall be: The worst comes first. Do that thing, those things you have been needing to do and never did. Then do it again tomorrow and the day after. Do it every day for the rest of your life.

It is really easy to get off course in life and we constantly need to make course corrections. Follow my lead long enough and you will be shocked.

Just remember: “Tomorrow Starts Today!”

Reality Check: You can’t be anything you want to be!

synchronicity-carl-jung

So you want to be an astronaut? Um. Well…

Telling people that they can do anything, whether fueled by imagination or hard work, conceals the critical role of genetics, environment, education, culture, timing and chance in success. Not every everyone who wants to be a neurosurgeon, a sports star or head of state can become one. Dedication and hard work alone will never make it happen.

Success = Talent + Luck.

Great success = A little more talent + A Lot more Luck.

While skill and hard work are a key part of success, chance plays a predominant role. Genetics, environment, education, culture and timing are other essential elements. This can be a bitter pill for those who want to believe that we control our own destiny. Throughout history, it has been demonstrated that all highly successful people were the person with the right stuff, living at the right moment and in the right place. For most of them, it is not to say that they did not work hard or deserve it but none where innately special. Timing and circumstances, opportunities, their environment, the people they knew, their origins is what made them special.

What would have been Moses without a people in need to be saved? What would be Donald Trump without a nation that is full of resentment? When promoting the idea that success is primarily determined by variables within one, we are ignoring the overriding influence of luck and synchronicity in one’s success or achievement. Conversely, those who do achieve prominent success often overestimate their role in it, and have a tendency to see those who have more average resumes as inferior or less deserving. Ignoring the role of chance means that we overvalue the achievements of individual icons and also miss opportunities to use our collective institutions to alleviate inequities.

It is a statistical fact that not everyone can grow up to be a Supreme Court justice, a successful political leader or a best-selling author. Many forces beyond our personal control, forces such as synchronicity, genetics, and other accidents of birth are shaping our individual futures and successes.

What Does It Take To Be Successful Today?

Success

Good Fortune is the most elusive part of Success

First, realize that people do not care about you as much as you think they might and that the people who truly care about you are not interested in your accomplishments and possessions. They are interested in you. When you find people who really care about you, do everything you can to hold onto them; they are your most precious assets, they will be your foundation.

Arranging your life around money will never bring you success. Focus on people who you care about, people who care about you, on your passion. Figure out what elicits certain responses from people, and you will be better able to favorably influence others in your favor. When you know how to speak to change someone’s mind, to instill confidence in someone, to quiet the fears of a child, then you will know firsthand what real power is all about.

Prepare for the unexpected and whatever your passion is, always make sure to fully understand the way things are working. While doing this, always keep up in mind that no amount of knowledge can prepare you for chaos that will inevitably hit you one day. Just always make sure to have a Plan B; you cannot let events and others define or tell you who you are.

Today, to become successful, there is no shortcut; you have to outperform the other guy, you have to outperform the competition. Always go beyond what is required and, when you will reach the top, start competing compete with yourself. Meantime, be self-aware. If you can see yourself the way others see you, you will be able to work with and get along with others more easily.

You want to move along and differentiate yourself from others, just remember that biases always affect everything you do. Your worldview works its way into every decision you make. If you know your biases, you can minimize acting selfishly and do what is right for the situation. Living in the present will keep you focused. Accept that the past cannot be changed, and everyday that goes by, make the most of what is in front of you.

Except for errands and petty tasks, do not surround yourself with “yes-men”; avoid them as much as possible. Only people who are very different from you can benefit you and enrich your life by providing new perspectives and learning experiences. Surrounding yourself with like-minded people will not only limit your creativity, it will impair it by denying you of all form of possible challenges.

Keep an open mind and if possible, travel and travel even more. Not only will it expose you to other ways of thinking, of living or doing things, it will also provide you with new perspectives on life, it will take you out of your comfort zone and allow you to challenge your own personal beliefs. Never take anything for granted. It is important to keep taking risks to investigate all possibilities until you find your passion.

Take care of your health and protect your reputation. You cannot focus on being successful if you are continually indulging your vices or ignoring health problems that are the potential cause of all your possible setbacks. Above everything else, your reputation must be protected. Guard your reputation; make it your first priority to be honest, reliable, and kind, and others will notice and reward you with their trust.

Control yourself; always stay in control of your emotions. Anger or panic should never impair decision-making process; a knee-jerk reaction can destroy a lifetime of efforts and work in one moment. Forgive others and forgive yourself. Strangers and loved ones alike will always hurt and disappoint you in some way; this is a fact of life. React accordingly, react appropriately but never hold grudges.

Life is short and we live in a world much bigger than ourselves. There is a lot we do not know, a lot you do not know. Nobody knows everything. Always seek the greater purpose. Think strategically. Think systemically. Use a sense of urgency to make the most of your time. If there is a task you can delegate to someone better suited for it, then do it. If there is a discussion about something you are not sufficiently knowledgeable about, resist the urge to jump in. Be honest with yourself. If you are to grow as a person, it is important to see unpleasant things for what they are.

Success is a choice; your choice. Success is a decision; your decision. Choosing to be successful and optimistic, regardless of the situation, yields more happiness than negativity. Everyone is afraid of failing; everyone hurts somehow. Nothing is perfect in this world and truthfully enough, unlike in the movies, the good guys do not always win.The successful ones know how to accept their fears and keep anxiety from restraining them.

Good fortune is the most elusive aspect of success; only confidence in yourself will take you places. Believe in yourself and be kind to everyone. People will believe and trust you; they will reward you with their trust.

Moving forward is the key to success.
